GIS-T

The GIS-T area provides enabling technologies for the exploitation of time-location information in advanced analyzes of massive data and innovative user services. GIS-T focuses on the development of a comprehensive spatial information infrastructure that will allow the spatial data and earth observation data to be combined with the aim of increasing the added value of information products and user applications and services.

The aim of the field is to develop and implement technologies for the exploitation of time-location information and ground observation data in advanced analyzes of massive data and innovative user services. The field focuses on the entire flow from the spatial data source, through the integration spatial platform, to location-based services that are integrated into business processes.
